Boulder Pit Stop

For years we have driven by Boulder Pit Stop on our way out of town or even just down the street to the Coffee Cup.  We have been saying for years we should stop and try it.  So Sunday we went out and tried it.  

Pit Stop Burger with Cheese

This burger was juicy and had a lot of flavor, the secret sauce and grilled onions added to the flavor of the burger which was cooked perfectly.  

French Fries

French Fries are extra, but what's a burger without french fries.  They were cooked perfectly, not greasy and seasoned perfectly.

The burger was huge after putting on these toppings.  But still the burger was the star of every bite!

Kid's Meal Cheeseburger with Fries

Cristyana added grilled onions and the secret sauce to the burger!  Yes, she ate grilled onions!!!  The only thing left on her plate when she was done was maybe a quarter of the burger everything else was in her tummy and she was asking when we could come back again.

Chicken Tenders Dinner

Mikayla usually loves burgers, but today she was in the mood for chicken tenders.  This is the normal adult meal.  She did not finish all of it, but she said it was yummy and filling.

The one thing both kids enjoyed even more than the food was when they asked for a side of ranch dressing, they were given a huge bottle to keep at their table.  They were in heaven!

Boulder Pit Stop is a must stop in Boulder City.  It's a small restaurant so you might have to wait for a table during the busy hours, but it is well worth the wait!!!

The Habit Burger Grill, Las Vegas, NV

The Habit Burger Grill just opened at the corner of our street.  Saturday we ventured in to try this new place.  The restaurant was clean and smelled of grilled burgers and fries.  Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.  

GRILLED CHEESE

Kid's meals are a must when taking the kids anywhere, more for Cristyana then Mikayla.  Cristyana said they could have given her more fries, but overall it was really good!  She even ate the burger gummy that comes as a treat.

CAESAR SALAD w/grilled albacore tuna

This salad was really good, the salad was crispy and the caesar dressing was just right.  The tuna was amazing, if I hadn't ordered the tuna, I wouldn't have known it was fish. Overall the salad was great!  I will be having that again and again and again!

GRILLED CHICKEN CAESAR

This is the same salad that I had except for it's with chicken instead of fish.  The chicken look most and seasoned right.  The salad portions are big and filling!

These burgers were juicy and seasoned properly.  On the double charburger we got lettuce, tomato and grilled onions.  All the flavors worked well together and left you wanting more.

Overall we will be making this a regular stop when we are out and about.  They have locations in California, Arizona, Utah, New Jersey, Florida, Idaho, Maryland, Virginia, Washington and Las Vegas!  If you come across this place, its a must stop!!

Cracked Egg - Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas, NV

Everyone loves breakfast, especially when you can get it without having to wake up supper early!  The Cracked Egg is open from 6am to 2pm Monday - Friday and 6am to 3pm on Saturday - Sunday.  The Cracked Egg is locally owned with 5 locations around the the valley.  Here is our experience from our visit!

This is their yummy coffee cake that comes as part of your meal.  It is served warm and amazing!  That with a cup of coffee is a meal in itself!  

 

“The Carnitas”

Seasoned Pork, Grilled Onions, Bell Peppers, Chile Verde Salsa, Cilantro & Jack Cheese topped with Sour Cream.  This meal was amazing, and enough for two meals!  

This meal was on the kids meal.  It was basic meal of scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast.  My youngest is simple when it comes to breakfast so this dish made her happy!  The only complaint that she had was that there wasn't enough bacon!

Chicken Fried Steak, Gravy & Eggs is an all time favorite.  Our family goes to different restaurants and tries out their chicken fried steak.  This meal got the thumbs up from our family!

“*Homemade Corned Beef Hash”

Bell Peppers, Onions and Two Eggs, Choice of Seasoned Potatoes or Hash Browns and Toast or Coffee Cake.  Corned beef hash is another favorite that our family searches for the best in town.  This meal also got the thumbs up from our family.

The atmosphere is nice and simple.  The restaurant was clean and inviting.  The service was great.  If you get there be prepared to wait, but the wait is never very long and the food is worth the wait.
